Hello 👋🏻, I am Mayank Khanna.

I'm a Senior Site Reliability Engineer by title, but I like to think of myself as a digital architect and professional automator. My mission is to build the robust cloud infrastructure that great software relies on, and I get a real kick out of making systems run so smoothly, you forget they're even there.
My playground is the cloud (mostly AWS and GCP), where I speak fluent Terraform to turn coffee into production-ready infrastructure.
I enjoy modernizing CI/CD workflows, whether that means taming a legacy Jenkins pipeline or building a slick new one with CircleCI. Day-to-day, you'll find me scripting away tedious tasks with Python and Bash, because who has time for manual clicks?
With roots in full-stack and even voice app development, I bring a broad perspective to every challenge, always aiming to create solutions that are not just stable and cost-effective, but also a joy for other developers to use.
Work Experience
Uplight - Site Reliability Engineer II
(February 2024 - Present)
- Orchestrated the end-to-end automation of Autogrid deployments, significantly reducing manual intervention and deployment time.
- Streamlined DNS management by implementing a system for creating and updating records entirely through code, improving consistency and reliability.
- Engineered an automated notification system for AWS Health events, integrating with PagerDuty (PD) to ensure immediate alerting and faster incident response.
- Collaborated with system architects on strategic infrastructure planning to enhance scalability and resilience, while also mentoring junior engineers on best practices.
- Validated expertise by achieving the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification.
UST. - Senior Software Engineer

- Led the strategic migration of a core product to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), managing all infrastructure as code using Terraform.
